Sub-nanojoule pulse compression down to 6 fs in photonic crystal fibers by Z. Várallyay, J. Fekete, Á. Bányász, S. Lakó, R. Szipőcs || (C) 2005 Optical Society of America
Abstract: A photonic crystal fiber with zero dispersion wavelength of 861 nm is used for pulse
compression of sub-nanojoule laser pulses. Theory shows that sub-6 fs pulses can be generated
using a 6 mm long fiber.
Real time 3D nonlinear microscopy by J. Fekete, Á. Bányász, R. Szipőcs, G. Katona, A. Lukács, B. Császár, Z. Várallyay, A. Sághy, P. Maák, B. Rózsa, E. S. Vizi || (C) 2005 Optical Society of America
Abstract: We propose a nonlinear microscope scheme being capable of simultaneous, 3D
investigation of the electric activity pattern of neural networks or signal summation rules of
individual neurons in a 0.6 x 0.6 x 0.2 mm(3) volume with sub-micrometer spatial resolution.
Low reflection loss ion-beam sputtered negative dispersion mirrors with MCGTI structure for low pump threshold, compact femtosecond pulse lasers by B. Császár, A. Kőházi-Kis, R. Szipőcs || (C) 2005 Optical Society of America
Abstract: Low reflection loss, ion-beam sputtered, multiple-cavity Gires-Tournois interferometer mirrors are used for dispersion compensation in different configurations of compact, low pump threshold, femtosecond pulse Cr:LiSAF and Ti:sapphire laser oscillators.
Cubic phase distortion of single attosecond pulses being
reflected on narrowband Mo/Si filtering mirrors by by A. Lukács, Z. Várallyay, R. Szipőcs || (C) 2005 Optical Society of America
Abstract: We show that cubic phase distortion caused by narrowband Mo/Si multilayer filtering X-ray mirrors may considerably increase the time duration of single attosecond pulses.
